Responsibilities

Role Summary:
Manage the day-to-day financial activities of a business group, an independent energy resources development company focused on meeting the increasing energy needs of the North American markets and emerging Asian economies. It develops, builds, owns and operates cost-competitive projects through the energy supply chain.
In the upstream sector, our activities are concentrated on exploration, development and production of gas in Canada. Our midstream operations include the development and operations of an LNG export facility in Canada.

Functional Tasks
  1. Perform and ensure quality in terms of accurate, completeness and timeliness of the Management Reporting (“MR”) daily activities for the following processes.
    (a) Prepare Monthly/ quarterly/ year‑end/ Business Group financial reports including reports for internal Management reporting.
    (b) Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of reports.
    (b) Ensure reports prepared meet the requirements required by RGE Corporate.
    (c) Ensure that deadlines for reporting are met consistently.
    (d) Prepare other relevant MR reports, where necessary.
  2. Ensure fund management is performed without causing any disruption to daily business activities. Prepare daily and weekly reports on cash balances and ensure liquidity.
  3. Prepare tax reports for internal management reporting and RGE Management reporting.
  4. Process banking transactions including preparing invoices payment for Indonesia, Singapore and Hong Kong with ensure compliance to business control and policies.
  5. Assist in annual budget preparation.
  6. Vendor and customer on‑boarding verification.
  7. Liaise with the RGE Corporate and Business Units for MR issues.
  8. Provide information to facilitate MR vs Financial Reporting reconciliation.
  9. Perform other duties as and when delegated i.e. back‑up function, business process improvement initiatives and ad‑hoc projects.
  10. Provide support to team members in resolving management reporting questions.
  11. Recommend and develop solutions for continuous improvement opportunities.
