About the job Senior Executive / Executive, Finance

About the Company: Our client is a licensed moneylender in Malaysia, operating under the Moneylenders Act 1951. Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare and complete full financial statements, including monthly income statements and balancesheets, for management review.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
  • Handle full sets of accounts, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, consolidation, and cash flow management.
Daily Accounting Activities
  • Manage daily accounting transactions, including SST/E-Invoice, invoicing, billing, and payment vouchers.
  • Maintain accurate data entry in the accounting system.
  • Prepare payments via internet banking.
Taxation & Statutory Compliance
  • Assist in SST, e-invoicing, and both personal and corporate tax-related analysis.
  • Liaise with tax agents, company secretaries, external auditors, bankers, and solicitors to ensure compliance.
  • Support year-end audit preparations and tax computation.
  • Monitor and prepare daily cumulative sales reports.
  • Verify daily sales reports, bank-in slips, and other related documents submitted by outlets.
Month-End Processes
  • Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Monitor and analyze monthly accounts receivable/payable status.
  • Collaborate across departments to identify innovative solutions for improving quality and reducing costs.
Other Duties
  • Perform ad hoc tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory filing and related matters.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Finance or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to manage full sets of accounts independently, including for multiple entities.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory compliance and tax regulations.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and internet banking platforms.
