A recruitment agency in Malaysia seeks a Senior Business Process Analyst to support business transformation initiatives. This role involves documentation of business requirements, process mapping, and data governance. Ideal candidates will have over 5 years in Corporate Finance or Business Analysis, with proficiency in data tools like Power BI as an advantage. · Support the Business Transformation Manager in standardizing processes and executing strategic projects
· Document business requirements and ensure timely delivery against project milestones
· Engage with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and technical teams to map current ("As-Is") and future-state ("To-Be") processes
· Facilitate workshops and requirements gathering sessions for functional design documentation
· Conduct gap analyses and collaborate with stakeholders to develop practical solutions
· Prepare stakeholder presentations, technical documentation, and process improvement proposals
· Lead functional testing, track outcomes, and support tool rollout activities
· Assist in redesign initiatives, mapping process changes and supporting cross-functional teams—including external consultants
· Support other duties as required, adapting to organizational priorities and transformation objectives
Data & Reporting Management
· Champion data governance, promoting standardized and accurate business data practices
· Ensure identification and ownership of master data through stakeholder collaboration
· Participate in data cleansing initiatives with the ICT Team and business units
· Contribute to data migration, mapping, and alignment with Global HQ financial standards (e.g. Chart of Accounts)
· Drive reporting efficiency by setting up regional dashboards and centralized controls using Power BI
· Identify reporting gaps across departments and implement KPI dashboards to inform decision-making
Project Coordination & Change Management
· Collaborate with Project Managers throughout project life cycles, supporting execution and risk mitigation
· Ensure stakeholder action plans are captured and implemented following project meetings
· Play an active role in change management efforts, addressing resistance and promoting adoption
Requirements
· Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent
· 5+ years of experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A, or Business Analysis
· Data analytics certification or demonstrated proficiency in data tools (e.g. Power BI) is an advantage
