Sensorlink Sdn Bhd, a leading technology company in Kuchai Lama, Kuala Lumpur, is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Accounts Executive to join their dynamic finance team. In this full‑time position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial records and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual group consolidation for multiple subsidiaries and associated companies.
- Perform financial reporting in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Manage month‑end closing activities, including review of journal entries, reconciliations and financial schedules.
- Review subsidiary financial statements and ensure adherence to group accounting policies.
- Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements, management reports, variance analysis and financial commentary.
- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, ensuring timely completion of audit requirements.
- Perform costing analysis and support costing‑related financial decision‑making.
- Handle tax‑related matters, including tax compliance, computation schedules and liaising with tax agents.
- Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting activities.
- Monitor intercompany transactions and ensure proper eliminations for consolidation.
- Enhance internal controls, accounting procedures and reporting processes.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders within the group.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance roles, particularly in financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting.
- Proven experience in group consolidation of financial statements.
- Proficiency in costing methods and analysis.
- In‑depth understanding of tax compliance and taxation principles.
- Experience in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Excellent communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin (written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience in an audit firm (Big 4 or mid‑tier) is a strong advantage.
- Detail‑oriented, possesses strong technical accounting knowledge (including IFRS) and capable of managing complex financial data across multiple entities.
