Responsibilities
- Prepare month-end closing and ensure management accounts are prepared accurately and on time.
- Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and manage payroll processing to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and handle intercompany billing and related reconciliations.
- Guide and supervise the accounts team, resolving escalated issues and ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Drive process improvements to meet or exceed departmental targets and efficiency standards.
- Support the implementation and transition of accounting automation initiatives.
- Assist in testing, documenting, and rolling out automated solutions.
- Prepare process documentation, SOPs, and user guides for new or enhanced workflows.
- Perform ad hoc tasks and assignments as directed by the Finance Director.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- At least 3 years of working experience in accounting field.
- Familiar with using Excel or Google Spreadsheet is a must.
- Experienced in handling Singapore GST is an added advantage.
- Able to stay open-minded and be adaptable to changes, with a strong interest in facilitating automation and learning new digital tools.
- Able to start work immediately or with short notice is preferred.
