Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and well-rounded educator to join us as a School Engagement Account Manager, supporting schools across East Malaysia regarding our programme in coding, robotics, AI, and drones.

This role is ideal for educators who enjoy working with principals and teachers, want to grow beyond the classroom, and believe in relationship-building over hard selling. Success is measured by trust, engagement, and long‑term school partnerships.

You will work closely with schools, visiting when needed to run trial classes, hold discussions, and support meaningful programme adoption.

What You’ll Do
School Engagement
  • Build trusted relationships with principals, teachers, and administrators
  • Engage Chinese‑medium, Malay, and international schools
  • Act as a long‑term partner to schools exploring or using Walnut programmes
Trial Classes & Programme Support
  • Conduct or support student trials and teacher demos/training for drone, AI, coding, and/or robotics.
  • Explain programmes clearly in an educator‑friendly way
  • Gather school feedback and share insights internally
Competitions & Enrichment
  • Support local and international coding, AI, drone & robotics competitions
  • Guide schools on competition formats and student participation
  • Assist with coordination during competitions, workshops, or showcases
    Account & Collaboration
    • Support adoption, renewals, and next steps after trials
    • Work closely with curriculum, operations, and marketing teams
    • Support workshops and selected education events when required
    Whom We’re Looking For
    • Education background preferred (teacher, tutor, academic coordinator; STEM/Robotics/ICT a plus)
    • Experience working with schools in Malaysia
    • Comfortable engaging Chinese‑speaking, Malay, and international stakeholders and community.
    • Warm, professional, and grounded communicator
    • Willing to be based in Kuching, covering East Malaysia
    • Open to learning account management and competition support
