Alcom Dach & Wand Sdn Bhd (ADW), a subsidiary of ALCOM Group Berhad, is a leading regional provider of innovative architectural metal roofing and façade cladding solutions. As a Marketing Manager at ADW, you will be responsible for achieving business objectives, budgets, and targets across the entire business. You will be the brand guardian for all marketing campaigns, ensuring compliance with company brand policies.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the Sales and Marketing team to achieve annual sales and profit targets set by management.
- Plan and implement effective marketing strategies to ensure the smooth running of all marketing and sales activities.
- Ensure the commercial viability and profitability of all secured projects.
- Manage marketing, sales, tendering, project costing, budgeting, and other related activities as required.
- Gather, analyse, and report on market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities.
- Prepare and present sales and marketing performance reports to management.
- Organize marketing events, exhibitions, and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility and product awareness.
- Deliver sales presentations and proposals to promote the company’s products and services.
- Negotiate with clients to secure projects and build long-term business relationships.
- Follow up on payment collection for completed works.
- Provide after-sales service and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years’ experience in brand, product management, or marketing, with at least several years in a managerial role — preferably within the Building Material or Construction industry.
- Proven track record in developing and executing brand strategies and marketing plans.
- Excellent command of English, with the ability to communicate and deliver presentations effectively.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead both direct teams and cross-functional departments, integrating complex initiatives across multiple business areas.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
