Job summary

A prominent commercial services provider in Malaysia is seeking a Sales Support professional to assist the commercial team with customer enquiries, manage sales-related documents, and compile sales reports. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, possess strong organizational skills, and be proficient in MS Office. This role offers the opportunity to engage with suppliers and contribute to the company’s commercial strategy.

  • Support the commercial team in handling customer enquiries.

Job description

Support the commercial team in handling customer enquiries.

Prepare and manage sales-related documents, including drawings, specifications, and offer/quotation templates.

Ensure timely and accurate documentation in response to customer requirements.

Issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to suppliers for raw materials, coating, and other related services.

Liaise with suppliers and follow up on quotations in line with the company’s commercial strategy.

Maintain proper records of supplier quotations and pricing.

Enquiry Tracking & Follow-Up

Maintain a comprehensive list of all open customer enquiries.

Monitor enquiry status and perform regular follow-ups with internal teams and customers.

Ensure enquiries are handled within the required timeline.

Reporting & Analysis

Compile and prepare regular sales reports on performance, trends, and key metrics.

Provide accurate data and analysis to support management reviews and decision-making.

Maintain sales records and reporting databases.

Requirements & Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.

Previous experience in sales support, commercial operations, or a similar role is an advantage.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
