About the job Retail Manager (Based in Singapore)

Company Background:

We are representing a client who specialize in retail FMCG and as they are expanding, they are looking for Retail Manager to based in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day retail store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Responsible for the store's financial budgets, ensuring that the store's operating costs are within budget.
  • Set and achieve sales targets while fostering a positive and motivating work environment.
  • Revenue and net profit-oriented. Able to comply with top management's strategy map for the expansion, revenue, and net profit strategy adaptation in certain development periods.
  • Maintain proper inventory levels and ensure stocking to ensure maximum efficiency in meeting sales goals.
  • Brand sourcing and brand development to ensure the department stays ahead of the competition.
  • Liaising with suppliers (local and international).
  • Responsible for recruiting, training, and motivating a high-performing team to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Ensure visual display standards and the store environment are consistently presentable and clean at all times.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma / Degree in any relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of working experience where 3 years in managerial role in retail industry.
  • Have experience in managing P&L, inventories, team management, suppliers etc.
  • Good communication skill in English & Mandarin (Due to business nature)
