Overview

As part of this program, you will be trained and mentored by experienced Area Managers and Store Managers to gain comprehensive, hands-on experience in store operations, merchandising, inventory management, people leadership and customer service.

The ultimate goal is to prepare you to lead a store independently, ensuring smooth operations, strong financial performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Learn to oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth workflow across all departments.

Support the Area Manager and Store Manager in driving store performance to meet sales and profitability targets.

Assist in maintaining high store standards, ensuring readiness, cleanliness and compliance at all times.

Participate in handling customer queries and complaints professionally, performing effective service recovery when necessary.

Merchandising & Inventory Management
  • Learn and assist in executing merchandising strategies that align with corporate direction, market trends and customer needs.
  • Support stock management processes, including ordering, replenishment and shrinkage control.
  • Understand forecasting methods and assist in maintaining optimal stock levels according to seasonal demands.
  • Ensure compliance with company, state and federal regulations regarding product freshness, food safety and sanitation.
  • Learn how to build and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Support in evaluating supplier performance and addressing issues as needed.
Compliance & Safety
  • Participate in staff supervision, scheduling and performance evaluation under the guidance of the Store or Area Manager.
  • Be trained in leadership, motivation and team development to eventually manage a store team independently.
  • Embrace the company’s culture and values, promoting teamwork and positive morale among team members.
  • Ensure awareness and adherence to all company policies, operational standards and safety regulations.
  • Support initiatives that ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards.
Other Responsibilities
  • Participate in operational projects, audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by the Area Manager or Store Manager.

Must-Have Criteria
  • Diploma or higher in retail management ONLY. Those without the required qualification but vast experience in retail/ F&B/ hospitality & tourism/ supply chain will be an advantage.
  • Analytical, business acumen, negotiation, customer-oriented, presentation, result-driven.
  • Self-motivated and a motivator, able to work independently and high integrity.
  • Computer literacy in MS Office.
  • Customer mindset, good team player and medically fit for retail work.
  • Strong command of English and Malay or Mandarin, both spoken and written, with basic customer-facing proficiency in both languages.
