QC Inspector & In-Process Quality Control (IPQC)
Responsibilities
- Inspect and verify precision-cleaned components to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards (customer-specific requirements).
- Perform cleanliness tests such as visual inspection, ultraviolet light inspection, solvent/particle analysis, and non-volatile residue (NVR) tests.
- Document and maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and cleanliness certifications.
- Ensure proper handling, packaging, and storage of cleaned parts to prevent recontamination.
- Monitor and validate precision cleaning processes (e.g., ultrasonic cleaning, solvent baths, DI water rinsing).
- Identify and report non-conformances, and assist in root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
- Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to improve process quality and cleanliness results.
- Maintain inspection tools, cleanliness test equipment, and calibration schedules.
- Support audits and customer inspections as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in QC inspection, preferably in precision cleaning, cleanroom, and semiconductor environment.
- Basic understanding of inspection tools, microscopes, and particle counters.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity for handling small/sensitive parts.
- Ability to work in cleanroom conditions (gowning, static control, etc.).
- Good communication and documentation skills.
Working Conditions
- Work is performed in cleanroom and laboratory environments.
- Standing, walking, and visual inspection are required for extended periods.
- Use of PPE such as gloves, gowns, and safety glasses is required.
