Job description

Direct the QA Technicians in performing a variety of complex quality assurance inspection and testing to assure that establishment and regulatory standards are met.

Responsible for the improvement of inspection method to ensure high quality and productivity of the QA department.

Suggest and implement changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase safety and efficiency of the department and the team.

Analyze and resolve work problems.

Plan QA inspection schedule and assign work of QA Technicians.

Responsible to conduct training for new QA Technicians.

Programming of Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to inspect complex machined parts.

Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.

Align with customers and suppliers on the measurement method.

Responsible for INS, MRBinventory.

Job Requirements
  • Certificate/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; or 2 to 3 years of related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of SPC tools application & ISO standards
  • Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Strong GD&T knowledge.
  • Knowledge about CMM measurement and requirement as well as programming.
  • Strong analytical skills in resolving quality issues.
  • Strong supervisory skills.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Good time management
  • Leadership ability and strong in teamwork as well as effective communication
