Job description

• Responsible for ongoing purchasing and sourcing activities
• Perform suppliers sourcing, selection and vendor management
• Initiate and identify cost savings opportunities and projects, support for all sourcing activities for all direct and indirect parts and services
• Implement sourcing plans with the goal of assuring specified quality, required delivery times and minimizing the total cost
• Continuous involvement in the Supplier Selection Process to develop a supply base that provides a competitive advantage in quality, value/cost and delivery.
• Monitor and track suppliers' performance ensure on-time delivery and meet quality standards
• Deal with suppliers on quality issues, products replacement, sample request and pricing

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology or equivalent.
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in sourcing and general procurement activities.
• Possess good understanding of suppliers landscapes, integrity, independent, resourceful and can drive and engage stakeholders with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, highly adaptable and able to manage workload based on changing priorities.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective negotiation and follow-up skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and experience in ERP system (Oracle) preferred.
