Responsibilities
- Project Coordination & Compliance
- Follow up with relevant authorities and consultants on the approval of land matters, proposed layout, building plans, design proposals, tender documentation, and other regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all project activities comply with local authorities' regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
- Assist in obtaining permits, licenses, and other necessary approvals from government bodies.
- Construction & Site Management
- Manage, monitor, and control construction sites to ensure compliance with approved schedules, contract sums, specifications, and acceptable quality standards.
- Supervise site activities, ensuring smooth coordination between contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
- Identify and resolve site-related problems promptly to prevent project delays.
- Conduct regular site inspections and enforce quality control measures.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Liaise with local authorities, clients, consultants, and internal construction teams for project execution and progress updates.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure project objectives are met.
- Attend project meetings and prepare reports on work progress, issues, and resolutions.
- Budget & Resource Management
- Assist in preparing project budgets, cost estimations, and tender evaluations.
- Ensure efficient procurement of materials and supplies while maintaining cost control measures.
- Monitor and track project expenditures to prevent cost overruns.
- Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance
- Ensure all construction and maintenance activities adhere to company policies and established procedures.
- Implement and monitor workplace safety programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.
- Address and mitigate potential risks that may arise during project execution.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of related project management experience, with a preference for experience in real estate development or construction-related projects.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, able to work independently, and possess strong problem-solving skills.
- Possesses strong analytical thinking and risk assessment abilities, with a focus on project success and continuous improvement.
