Job summary

A leading project management company in Malaysia is looking for a Project Manager to oversee customer projects' full lifecycle. Track and manage project checklists and required actions across the full lifecycle of customer projects

Break down project requirements into sub-projects and actionable tasks

Monitor progress, dependencies, risks, and issues across multiple departments

Coordinate closely with internal teams including design, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, delivery, and shipping

Ensure adherence to overall project timelines, budgets, resource plans, and internal processes

Participate actively in weekly and monthly project review meetings

Identify problems, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities, and report findings to the Chief Projects Officer

Support continuous improvement of project management processes and execution standards

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field

1–5 years of relevant experience in project management, engineering, construction, manufacturing, or a similar environment

Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously

Structured and process-oriented mindset, with attention to detail

Ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional teams at different levels of the organization

Proficiency in common project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, or similar planning tools)

Willingness to take ownership and accountability for outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to construction, modular building, manufacturing, or large-scale industrial projects

Familiarity with project scheduling, resource planning, or risk management

Experience working in a matrix or cross-functional organization
