Job summary

A manufacturing company in Seberang Perai, Malaysia, is seeking a Project / NPI Engineer to manage new project activities and improve processes. Qualifications

Experience in Plastic Injection will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

1. Handling new project activities and preparing BOM for new projects.
2. Responsible for composing process work instructions for new operations/processes.
3. Help further the company culture of implementing innovative processes and continually improving existing processes.
4. Responsible for managing processes by using engineering principles and techniques.
5. To direct and coordinate the department’s efforts in the achievement of continuous improvement in the areas identified herein.
6. To ensure continuous improvement that meets or exceeds the customer’s requirements and demands.
7. Liaise with QA on quality problems and take the necessary countermeasures to prevent recurrences.
8. Responsible for the production of quality products at optimum cost in all manufacturing processes.
9. To undertake other related jobs as directed by the superior occasionally.

Requirements

• Possess at least a diploma in the Engineering field or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a Project / NPI Engineer.
