Job summary

Job description

Genic Technology (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd – Dengkil, Selangor

Responsibilities

Plan and control daily production schedules to meet output and delivery targets.

Monitor machine utilization, cycle time, and productivity.

Ensure machines are properly set up and operated according to SOPs.

Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance departments.

Troubleshoot production issues related to machines, tooling, or manpower.

Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.

Conduct first-article verification and in-process inspections.

Enforce safety, 5S, and housekeeping practices on the shop floor.

Train, coach, and develop operators.

Prepare daily production reports and support continuous improvement activities (Kaizen).

Job Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Precision Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in machining or manufacturing industry.
  • At least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team leader role is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
  • Basic knowledge of CNC programming and CAM software (Mastercam preferred).
  • Familiar with quality control tools and inspection equipment.
  • Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
  • Experience in precision machining / high-mix low-volume production.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 or IATF 16949.
