A well-known manufacturing company in Negeri Sembilan is looking for a Production Coordinator to supervise production teams and ensure process consistency. The ideal candidate will lead Line Leaders and Production Assistants in meeting daily output targets while maintaining safety standards. Requirements include proficiency in both Mandarin and English, and experience in production roles is preferred. Fresh graduates with a managerial mindset are welcome to apply. Job description
Production Coordinator (Well-known glass manufacturing company)
  • Supervise Line Leaders and Production Assistants.
  • Guide them to hit daily output targets (like keeping the production line running efficiently).
  • Ensure Process Consistency
  • Make sure everyone follows the latest process updates and safety procedures.
  • Similar to a process engineer ensuring SOPs and quality standards are followed.
  • Coordinate Shift Operations
  • Oversee handovers between shifts to avoid downtime.
  • Troubleshoot issues on the spot (like a process engineer responding to production bottlenecks).
  • Schedule workers and ensure raw materials are ready.
  • Like optimizing resources to prevent delays or shortages.
  • Monitor Production Performance
  • Review WIP (Work-In-Progress) reports and output data.
  • Similar to analyzing line efficiency and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Maintain 5S and SOP Compliance
  • Enforce clean, organized, and safe working conditions.
  • Much like maintaining process discipline and lean practices.
  • Work with Support Teams
  • Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and engineering departments when needed.
  • Just like a process engineer working cross-functionally to resolve issues.
  • Conduct daily briefings and track team performance.
  • Handle minor conflicts, motivate staff, and arrange for job rotations.
  • SPM and above with any experience
  • Having relevant experience in the related role is advantageous! Fresh graduates with a management mindset are welcome.
  • Good in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Able to read & write Mandarin & English as the documentation by the hiring company would require these language proficiencies.
