Position : Executive/ Senior Executive, Product Development

Overview of the Position:

This role is responsible for managing and overseeing the development of new products from concept to launch. This role involves conducting market research, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and ensuring that products meet quality standards and align with business objectives. The position requires a blend of strategic planning, project management, and hands‑on execution to drive successful product development initiatives.

Basic Salary: RM5000

Job Requirements:

• Product Development Facilitation: Facilitate the product development process from conceptualization and development through to implementation and monitoring.
• Market Research and Testing: Conduct market surveys, test marketing, and product testing to gather relevant data and insights.
• Supplier and Manufacturer Liaison: Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to coordinate product development activities and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Feasibility Studies: Prepare preliminary and feasibility studies for new products to assess viability and potential success.
• Product Trials and Testing: Conduct product impression trials and ensure all efficacy and safety testing are completed where appropriate and necessary.
• Regulatory Compliance: Liaise with Regulatory Affairs (RA) personnel to ensure new products are registered and approved by relevant authorities.
• Quality Assurance Coordination: Work with Quality Assurance (QA) personnel to ensure that new products comply with specified product standards and specifications.
• Packaging Development: Provide relevant information to the Corporate Communication Department to assist in the development of product packaging.
• Forecasting and Budgeting: Propose forecasts and budgets for new products as needed, based on market research and development data if necessary.
• Product Introduction and Presentation: Prepare introductory information and presentations for new products to support their launch.
• Performance Monitoring and Review: Monitor the performance of newly launched products and prepare product review presentations to evaluate success and identify areas for improvement.

Job Requirements:

• Additional Duties: Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior.
• Possess a tertiary qualification in any degree or related discipline.
• Has 1-2 working experience in product development, preferably in Apparel & Beauty (Skincare, Personal Care) products.
