Job description

We are seeking a Process Safety Engineer to support our clients offshore and onshore oil & gas projects and operations. The role focuses on identifying, assessing, and mitigating process‑related risks to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in and support process safety studies such as HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA/SIL, Bowtie, and risk assessments.
  • Prepare and review process safety deliverables, reports, and recommendations.
  • Support implementation and maintenance of Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements.
  • Assist in design reviews, MOC, and operational risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and industry codes.
  • Support investigation of process safety incidents and near misses.
  • Coordinate with process, project, and operations teams on safety‑related matters.
Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in process safety and/or process engineering.
  • Hands‑on experience with process safety studies and risk assessment methodologies.
  • Knowledge of oil & gas / petrochemical industry standards.
  • Experience supporting offshore and/or onshore facilities is an advantage.
  • Good communication, analytical, and teamwork skills.
