Job Description (Intellectual Property & Technology)
- Preparing legal documents, applications, letters to the Malaysian Intellectual Property Department;
- Compose and revise documents for attorneys, including letters, depositions and filing forms;
- Conduct market surveys and raids;
- Filing of Trade Mark and Patent application in Malaysia for local clients and overseas associates;
- Ensure legal documents are processed and handled in a timely and efficient manner in order to comply with appropriate regulations and deadlines;
- Liaising with officers at the Malaysian Registry;
- File and archive all documents in compliance with the files and subject matters; and
- Assume ad-hoc assignment as required.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Candidates must possess minimum qualification of Bachelor Degree in Laws (LLB);
- At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position;
- Able to speak and write English fluently;
- Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Law/Legal Services or equivalent; and
