A healthcare institution in Selangor, Malaysia is seeking a Nurse Manager for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The candidate will oversee operations, ensure high-quality nursing care, and lead critical care staff. At least 5–7 years of nursing experience, with a minimum of 2–3 years in a leadership role in critical care, is required. Applicants should have strong critical care nursing knowledge and excellent leadership skills in a multidisciplinary environment. A diploma in nursing and relevant certifications are essential.
In charge of the operations of the assigned unit and is responsible for the management of all activities involved in planning, monitoring and supervising the professional and nursing activities and services rendered in accordance to established policies and procedures.
Responsible to ensure a high level of nursing care is delivered in the most cost-effective manner.
Leads the team of critical care staff within the unit and is required to plan for staff development as well as participating in Nursing Education Program.
Responsible to ensure safe care delivery for a multidisciplinary group of patients for adult, pediatric and neonates.
Participate in clinical audit as required.
Maintains harmonious working relationships and creates a conductive environment for excellent customer service within the unit with Medical Staff and other departments within the organization.

SRN Registered with the Nursing Board.
Diploma in Nursing.
Possess post basic certificate in Critical Care Nursing.
Post Basic in Neonatal Nursing and BSC in Nursing is an advantage.
Sound knowledge of principles of Critical Care Nursing in a multidisciplinary set up.
Knowledge of principles of unit management.
Pleasant personality and motivated.
Computer literate.
Minimum 5–7 years of nursing experience, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role in Critical Care department.
Advanced knowledge in critical care nursing, patient safety, and clinical risk management.
