We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Manager, Business Development to support the sales team in driving revenue growth and expanding market presence for Berjaya Tioman Resort, a premier island getaway.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident sales professional with strong commercial acumen and proven hospitality experience, who can achieve sales targets, build lasting client relationships, and contribute to a high-performing team in a unique resort environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Secure new and repeat business to meet sales targets, including function rooms, seminars, conferences, exhibitions, and other events.
  • Achieve monthly and annual room revenue targets by managing existing accounts and developing new business.
  • Represent Berjaya Hospitality Group in sales trips, tradeshows, and promotions.
  • Entertain and maintain relationships with key accounts.
  • Organize and coordinate sales activities and promotions.
  • Suggest improvements to sales plans and promotions to stay competitive and increase revenue.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by Management or Head of Department.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Marketing, Business Studies, Administration, Management, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales/business development, preferably in hospitality.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Tioman Island and local travel agent networks.
  • Mature, results-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Own transport and willingness to travel.
