Job summary

A leading beauty resources firm in Selangor is seeking a proactive and certified Safety and Health Officer to champion world-class safety across operations. The role involves ensuring full compliance with Malaysian statutory requirements, conducting thorough risk assessments, and leading safety training programs. Ideal candidates will possess a valid DOSH-certified SHO Certificate and a degree in Occupational Safety. The position calls for a self-driven professional with strong communication skills and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

  • Possession of a current and valid DOSH-certified Safety and Health Officer (SHO) Certificate is mandatory.
  • In-depth practical knowledge of Malaysian safety legislation including OSHA and the Factories and Machinery Act.
  • Minimum 3+ years of progressive experience in a dedicated safety role.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and hazard identification across facilities.
  • Design, implement, and enforce safety and health policies in compliance with OSHA and DOSH.
  • Lead safety training programs for all employees.
  • Act as liaison with the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH).
  • Systematically inspect equipment and workplace environment to ensure safety.
