Job description

This is a full‑time Lifting Supervisor role at CGW BUILDER (M) SDN BHD, located in Sungai Buloh, Selangor. As the Lifting Supervisor, you will play a crucial supervisory role in overseeing and coordinating all lifting operations on construction sites to ensure the safe and efficient completion of projects.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and implement lifting plans to optimise the use of cranes and other lifting equipment
• Supervise and coordinate the work of crane operators, riggers, and other personnel involved in lifting operations
• Ensure that all lifting activities comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with lifting operations
• Provide training and guidance to the lifting team to improve their skills and knowledge
• Maintain detailed records of all lifting activities, including equipment usage, maintenance, and any incidents
• Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of construction projects

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Lifting Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role in the construction industry
• Thorough understanding of lifting equipment, rigging, and applicable safety standards and regulations
• Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making, and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, load charts, and other technical documents
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Certification as a Lifting Supervisor or equivalent qualification
