STINIS MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is seeking a Lathe Fabrication Machinist Expert to support the design, testing, and production of high-quality, dependable products that contribute to our company’s growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate lathe machines to perform machining tasks such as turning, facing, grooving, and threading (manual and CNC).

Prepare and load raw materials correctly before machining.

For CNC operations: write, modify, and optimize G-code programs for efficiency and accuracy.

Review technical drawings and specifications to determine setup, machining sequence, and tooling.

Design or set up jigs, fixtures, and tooling to hold workpieces with precision.

Conduct precise measurements using micrometers, vernier calipers, and other instruments.

Inspect finished parts for accuracy, quality, and conformance.

Perform routine preventive maintenance and minor troubleshooting on machines.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in line with 5S and safety standards.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

Collaborate with engineers and production teams on process optimization and troubleshooting.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Lathe Fabrication Machinist.

Skilled in turning, facing, and threading operations.

Proficient with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators).

Experience machining hardened/heat‑treated steels.

Ability to perform multi‑axis turning operations.
