Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act.
• Promote occupational safety and environmental sustainability initiatives.
• Assist in planning and executing OSH programs.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of safety measures during inspections.
• Examine workplace accidents and prepare reports.
• Facilitate safety trainings and emergency drills.
• Implement safety programs in accordance with OHSAS 45001.

Job description

· Ensure the company’s compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act Of 1994, and related regulations, to promote a safe and healthy workplace.

· Promote responsible business practices that include Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) and Environmental Sustainability initiatives.

· Assist the company and the Safety and Health Committee in planning, organizing, and executing OSH programs and awareness campaigns.

· Assist the company and the Safety and Health Committee with workplace inspections to evaluate how effective and efficient safety measures are.

· Examine workplace accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare comprehensive reports and submit them promptly to the appropriate authorities.

· Facilitate safety trainings, emergency drills, and awareness programs to strengthen safety culture across all departments.

· Implement, conduct, and enforce all safety programs in accordance with OHSAS 45001 requirements and ISO 9001:2015.
