A chemical analysis firm in Sitiawan seeks a qualified Laboratory Analyst to conduct routine tests on raw materials and finished products. You will ensure accuracy, prepare certification documents, and comply with ISO standards. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, as well as knowledge of laboratory instruments, are required. This role is vital for maintaining quality assurance in our processes.
Conduct routine chemical and physical analysis on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
Responsible for perform sample register, test, record and filling test result into LISA
Ensure all test results are accurate, reliable, and completed within the required time frame
Perform testing using all laboratory instruments such as GC, Viscometer, UV-Vis, density meter etc.
Record and maintain all laboratory results in LISA
Prepare test reports, COAs, data sheets, and maintain proper documentation according to ISO 9001
Report any non-conforming results to Lab Supervisor or Lab Manager
Monitoring and control of lab facilities, chemical substance and accessories used in lab
Updating calibration plan for lab equipment used in lab.
Perform routine calibration, verification, and maintenance of laboratory instruments
Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of samples.
Assist in troubleshooting instrument issues and coordinate servicing when required.
Ensure all laboratory activities comply with company SOPs, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Performs other duties as assigned
Bachelor degree in Chemistry or Sciences
Min of 2 years working experience in the same field
Good spoken & written of English/ Bahasa Malaysia
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point
Knowledge in ISO 9001:2015
Knowledge in Quality Assurance is advantages
Experience in QC, R&D, polymer, chemical, or petrochemical industry is an added advantage
