Job summary

A leading maritime company in Malaysia is seeking qualified candidates for the roles of Mooring Master and Assistant Mooring Master. The ideal candidates must have a minimum of 10 years' sea going experience and specific professional qualifications. Responsibilities include handling tankers at various mooring systems. Qualifications

• Master Mariner with sea going experience of at least 10 years.
• Professional qualification equivalent to Class 1 Master Foreign Going Certificate of Competency.

• Deck Officer with sea going experience of at least 5 years.
• Experience as assistance mooring master with 1 year experience in Malaysian water.

Mooring Master

• Master Mariner with sea going experience of at least 10 years
• Professional qualification equivalent to Class 1 Master Foreign Going Certificate of Competency on-board Crude Oil Tankers.
• Experience in handling tankers at single point mooring, tandem mooring and/or other mooring system with at least 3 years’ experience in Malaysian water.
• Deck Officer with sea going experience of at least 5 years
• Experience as assistance mooring master handling tankers at single point mooring, tandem mooring and/or other mooring system with 1 year experience in Malaysian water.
