As IT Technical Support Engineer, you will be providing Technical Support to Enterprise users of desktop/laptop/PC, assisting with maintenance and deployment of new desktop/laptop hardware, supporting clients onsite and managing tickets using the company’s chosen IT ticketing tool. You will also coordinate and communicate with IT management.
Responsibilities
- To provide IT technical assistance to clients for products & services offered by TeamCloud.
- To provide guidance to clients for IT products & services offered by TeamCloud.
- To troubleshoot IT errors related to hosting services (Windows & Linux).
- To ensure servers are working on optimum performance.
- To reply to clients via Helpdesk.
- To answer and reply to phone calls on Technical related issues.
- To perform weekly & monthly server maintenance.
- Involved in various company’s system implementation projects
Requirements
- Candidate must possess or currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize effectively.
- Has some helpdesk/service desk background.
- Has experience working in SLA driven environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of clients and staff in difficult situations.
- Previous experience with remote support including: troubleshooting, diagnosis, resolution, software deployment will be considered as distinctive asset.
- Required language(s): English.
- Preferred language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Chs.
- Applicants must be willing to work in KL.
- Applicants must be willing to work on shift.
- Applicants must have own transport. Preferably a car.
- Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
- Preferably junior executives specializing in IT/Computer – Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent.
