A leading development group in Kuala Lumpur is looking for an IT Support Specialist to manage Windows desktop PCs and servers within an Active Directory environment. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting, performing security updates, and coordinating with vendors for new infrastructure projects. Candidates must hold a Diploma/Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science and have a minimum of 2 years experience in a related field. Experience with Microsoft 365 and server management is essential, focusing on ensuring the reliability of IT systems.
Managing Windows desktop PCs and Servers in the Windows Active Directory environment. The scope covers:
Troubleshoot, support, and maintain PCs, test and implement upgrades of PCs in order to ensure the reliability of IT to support daily business operation. Planning of PC refresh program and standardization of office applications and operating system.
To perform security update on all systems to ensure all vulnerabilities are patched and fixed. Coordinate with external vendor on Penetration Test twice yearly.
Coordinate with vendors for infrastructure requirement such as PCs and printers for existing offices in order to support new business operation and enhance existing business operation. As for the project based assignment on new project/new office setup, to coordinate with vendors on full implementation which include servers, network, PCs and printers.
Assist General Manager and Senior Manager to perform any other duties as assigned from time to time in order to facilitate project and task completion.
