A global customer service company is looking for an interpreter to facilitate communication for individuals with language barriers. The role requires providing interpretation for various stakeholders during calls, maintaining professionalism and accuracy. A B2 level in English and other languages is crucial, alongside excellent listening and communication skills. This is a remote position, allowing flexibility in work hours.

Qualifications

  • Ability to concentrate, stay detached from the conversation, and always remain neutral and objective
  • Ability to quickly establish personal credibility
  • Ability to follow client's instructions closely
  • Ability to explain certain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication with the permission or at request of the client
  • B2 CEFR English Level bilingual wih other required languages
  • Able to work from home on a permanent basis
Responsibilities
  • Provide language interpretation from one language to another for individual with language barrier to understand and communicate to each other
  • Handling telephone or video calls on demand and renders meaning of conversations in the consecutive mode of interpretation between speakers of English
  • Processes information quickly and concisely, recognizes sensitive cultural differences, and is always professional and courteous
  • The interpreter will use appropriate industry terminology and understand common industry procedures and practices. The calls may involve simple or complex, non-technical or technical subjects in Healthcare, Government, Insurance, Finance, Utilities, Travel and Hospitality, 911 emergency services, Law Enforcement, Courts, and General Business.
