Job summary

A leading design studio in Malaysia is seeking a talented Interior Designer to develop creative concepts and manage design projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will possess a relevant diploma/degree and have at least 2 years of experience in construction, with additional advantage for those experienced in interior design. Job description

Possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma/Bachelor's Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture.

Required skills: AUTOCAD, 3D-Studio Max, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

Minimum 2 years of working experience in construction field, the experience of interior design will have added advantage. Fresh graduated welcome to apply too.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and produce creative concepts and innovative ideas that meet the clients' objectives.
• Undertake design projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality work.
• Collaborate with Commercial clients to understand their company brand, marketing initiatives, and design requirements, and translate these into a cohesive and compelling design concept.
• Regularly monitor and report on site work progress, maintaining effective communication with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure smooth project execution.
• Research and decide on materials and product sourcing, considering budget, aesthetics, and functionality.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to gather material samples, create sample boards, and make informed selections based on project requirements.
• Create and develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings and layouts for projects, using industry-standard design software and tools.
• Oversee on-site execution of design concepts, ensuring alignment with project specifications and client expectations.
