Job summary

A multinational technology company in Selangor is seeking a candidate to assist in maintaining their enterprise IaaS platforms and hardware infrastructure. You will perform daily deployment and monitoring of virtual machines, address cloud platform alerts, and assist with cloud cost tracking. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and cloud certification are required. Ideal candidates will have experience with Terraform, Ansible, and be fluent in English and Mandarin.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in basic Linux operations and common commands.
• Hands-on experience with cloud consoles (AWS/Azure/AliCloud) is preferred.
• Business-fluent English and Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily deployment and monitoring of virtual machines, storage, and networking.
• Address L1 cloud platform alerts and conduct basic troubleshooting.
• Assist in cloud cost tracking and identify abnormally consuming instances.
• Execute standardized resource provisioning using Terraform/Ansible scripts.
• Implement foundational security policies and support compliance checks.

Overview

Summary: Assist in maintaining enterprise Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) platform, private cloud platforms (OpenStack), and hardware infrastructure. Participate in cloud resource deployment, monitoring, and basic operations to ensure stability of business-critical cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Operations Support: Perform daily deployment and monitoring of virtual machines (EC2/VMs), storage (S3/EBS), and networking (VPC/SLB).
• Infrastructure Operations Support: Address L1 cloud platform alerts (CPU/Disk/Network anomalies) and conduct basic troubleshooting.
• Infrastructure Operations Support: Assist in cloud cost tracking and identify abnormally consuming instances.
• Automation & Documentation: Execute standardized resource provisioning using Terraform/Ansible scripts.
• Automation & Documentation: Maintain cloud resource inventory and operational knowledge base documentation.
• Automation & Documentation: Develop basic Shell/Python scripts for automated inspection tasks.
• Security & Compliance: Implement foundational security policies (security group rules/IAM permission audits).
• Security & Compliance: Support cloud platform compliance checks (MLPS Level 2/ISO27001).

Qualifications & Experience

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science/Network Engineering/Cloud Computing
• Understanding of IaaS core components: Compute/Storage/Networking/Virtualization
• Proficiency in basic Linux operations and common commands
• Knowledge of network protocols: TCP/IP/DNS/HTTP
• Cloud certification (Any one):
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
• Microsoft Azure AZ-900
• Alibaba Cloud ACA

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with cloud consoles (AWS/Azure/AliCloud)
• Lab/project exposure to Terraform/Ansible
• Basic scripting skills (Python/Shell)
• Business-fluent English and Mandarin
