Job summary

A leading HR firm in Petaling Jaya is looking for a Junior HR Generalist to assist with recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement activities. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration and demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills. Responsibilities include scheduling interviews, managing employee engagement events, and responding to HR inquiries. This is a permanent/contract position with a salary range of MYR 2,800 – MYR 3,500.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • Previous experience in HR, recruitment, or administrative roles is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills are essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills needed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a must.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Assist with job postings and advertisements.
  • Screen resumes and coordinate interview schedules.
  • Support the onboarding process, including preparing offer letters and organizing orientation sessions.
Employee Engagement
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities, including events, team‑building sessions, and recognition programs.
  • Handle employee feedback and assist with resolving minor workplace concerns.
General Administration
  • Respond to general HR inquiries from employees and managers.
  • Assist with ad‑hoc HR tasks and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in HR, recruitment, or administrative roles is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
