Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily container trucking operations to meet business needs;
• Ensure timely collection and delivery of laden and empty containers;
• Coordinate container movements with ports, depots, customers, and internal teams;
• Monitor fleet performance, vehicle availability, fuel usage, and GPS tracking;
• Manage drivers, rostering and performance;
• Oversee vehicle maintenance, inspections, and roadworthiness;
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, permits, and safety requirements including driver's log book and other safety documents;
• Handle customer coordination and resolve delivery delays, damages, or service issues;
• Assist yard operations, container loading/unloading, and container positioning;
• To perform any ad-hoc duties and reports as and when assigned/requested by the Management.

Requirements

• Proven experience in container haulage transport operations;
• Strong knowledge of port operations, container depots, and trucking procedures;
• Familiar with transportation regulations and safety standards;
• Good leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced operational environment;
