Job summary

A financial services organization in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced financial leader to manage financial planning, budgeting, and compliance. Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA would be an added advantage.
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CFA, CA, or membership with MIA is required or highly preferred.
  • Minimum 10–15 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or strategic financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or management role.
  • Proven track record in corporate finance, financial planning, strategic management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in education, healthcare, corporate services, or related industries is preferred.
  • Prior involvement in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raising, strategic planning, valuations, or investment analysis would be advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of Malaysian financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards (MFRS/IFRS).
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and valuation analysis.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
