• Provide financial insights to support business decisions.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Financial Controlling – Senior Specialist with strong fundamentals in audit and month‑end closing, ideally someone who started their career in external audit and has since gained commercial / controlling experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full month‑end closing activities, including preparation and review of manual journal entries, accruals, and adjustments

• Handle statutory audit matters, acting as the main liaison with external auditors and ensuring timely audit completion

• Prepare and review financial reports in accordance with statutory and internal requirements

• Oversee cash flow management, including monitoring cash flow forecast vs actuals and identifying variances

• Work closely with bankers, including managing banking facilities, documentation, and ongoing communications

• Partner with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and support business decisions

Requirements

• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or equivalent)
• Strong foundation in external audit, with hands‑on experience in statutory audit
• Proven experience in month‑end closing and financial controlling within a commercial environment
• Solid understanding of cash flow management and forecasting
