About the role

As the Field Service Technician for Carrier, you’ll be an established professional in New Equipment Modernization, responsible for project schedule updates, report documentation, and acting as the primary contact with customers. You will resolve customer issues and, as needed, escalates more complex issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and perform repairs on all refrigeration equipment and troubleshoot all HVAC equipment.
  • Manage all allocated Service Sites, operate various Centrifugal, Screw, and Reciprocating chillers, and oversee all maintenance activities for various technicians.
  • Monitor all resources, ensure optimal utilization, achieve customer objectives, provide support to all equipment, perform calculations, and implement various HVAC plans.
  • Evaluate approval systems for new and revised maintenance jobs, monitor work instructions, maintain all deliverables for projects to uphold optimal quality within required timeframes, and coordinate with stakeholders to analyze all project requirements.
  • Perform audits on all HVAC systems, collect data, conduct periodic evaluations, monitor all logbooks, manage all change processes, and resolve all issues.
Requirements

As a minimum you must have:

  • Diploma holder with strong experience.
  • Min 2 years of experience in a hands‑on technician role.
  • Familiarity with repairing and servicing HVAC equipment.
  • Understanding of air conditioning within the HVAC field.
