Job summary

A leading tire manufacturer in Kedah, Malaysia, seeks a FI Project Manager to lead improvement projects and support plant optimization initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and have 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include coaching project teams, ensuring project reporting accuracy, and promoting continuous improvement methodologies. Applicants with Tire industry experience will be favored. Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.

Job description

What You'll Do

• You will lead FI projects and coach FI project team to achieve plant gross saving targets.
• You will use, teach and promote continuous improvement tools and good project management principles using Goodyear tools and techniques.
• You will ensure accuracy of reporting at project level in cooperation with Finance.
• You will support the FI needs for all other Plant Optimization (PO) pillars and initiatives.
• You will support IE/FI Manager to select appropriate projects. Lead and coordinate FI projects. Lead activities towards PO Pillar House initiatives.
• You will support the implementation from the workplace organization and production flow pillars.
• You will take appropriate actions to support and maintain PO Pillar structure. Support the IE/FI Manager to review and consolidate the monthly report. Assist when needed for projects to move forward.
• You will provide sponsorship for cross-functional projects, meet regularly with team members to ensure FI tactics alignment.
• You will provide focused improvement coaching and ensure that resources are available. Identify plant optimization training needs and organize focused improvement training with concerned team members.

What We're looking for

• You with bachelor's degree in business, Industrial Management, Engineering, management or equivalent field of study.
• You with 3-5 years' experience in manufacturing environment.
• You with working knowledge and/or experience with lean and 6Sigma interaction in a manufacturing environment.
• You with experienced as Project manager and/or project sponsor.
• You with Tire industry experience would be a plus.
