Job description

Facility Lead (Up to RM20k / Data Center / Kulai)

Salary: Up to RM20,000
Working Location: Sedenak, Kulai

Responsibilities

Lead and manage shift teams, ensuring smooth operations, maintenance activities, and 100% uptime of critical systems.

Plan and coordinate daily shift tasks, vendor maintenance, documentation, and communication with clients and management.

Assign, prioritize, and monitor PPM/TT work orders, ensuring timely completion and compliance, including accurate CAFM updates.

Oversee all maintenance activities, subcontractor inductions, permits, method statements, and adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Monitor FOC operations and respond promptly to EPMS, BMS, and fire system alarms.

Prepare daily shift handover reports and conduct toolbox talks, safety drills, and HSE reporting.

Supervise third-party engineers, maintain professional working relationships, and provide shift/emergency cover when required.

Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

5–10 years of experience in a data center environment, with strong industry knowledge.

Proven leadership, supervisory abilities, and effective stakeholder management skills.

Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and collaboration capabilities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Solid project, planning, change management, and time management skills.

Good judgement, decision-making, and organizational abilities.

Proficient in using computer applications and related tools.
