Job summary

A leading accounting and consulting firm is seeking an Experienced Associate in Assurance to provide various assurance services. You will assist the team on projects, prepare deliverables, and ensure compliance with standards. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Accounting and at least one year of relevant audit experience, along with strong communication and leadership skills. This role will also involve significant client interaction and analytical contributions. Travel requirements may reach up to 80%.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively assist the team in various aspects of the project
  • Prepare deliverables
  • Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen
  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
  • Ensure you are adhering to compliance matters
  • Work on developing internal relationships and your PwC brand
Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting and/or a professional accounting qualification such as the ICAEW / ACCA / MICPA-CAANZ / CPA Australia
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in statutory and regulatory audits
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess good leadership skills and demonstrate resilience
  • Able to demonstrate ability to interact with people of different backgrounds and build meaningful relationships
  • Able to demonstrate analytical thinking and business acumen
