Job description
  • Develop and implement PR strategies aligned with DSH2’s brand and business growth objectives.
  • Create and distribute press releases, media statements, feature stories, and thought-leadership content.
  • Build strong relationships with journalists, media houses, influencers, and industry partners.
  • Coordinate media interviews, hospital spokesperson engagements, and press conferences.
  • Manage media monitoring, tracking clippings, and reporting PR value.
  • Ensure timely response to media enquiries and manage sensitive communications with professionalism.
  • Support crisis communication planning and rapid-response statements.
B. Corporate Communications
  • Draft internal communications, speeches, talking points, and CEO/Management messages.
  • Ensure consistent brand voice across all communication platforms.
  • Support development of marketing collaterals, newsletters, and social content when required.
  • Uphold DSH2’s corporate image and identity in all external communications.
C. Event Planning & Management
  • Lead end-to-end planning of hospital events such as: Corporate partnership events, Health talks and community outreach activities, Hospital celebrations (Doctors Day, Nurses Day, Anniversaries, Festive celebrations), CSR engagements & VIP / delegation visits (local and international)
  • Prepare full logistics management including run-down, venue setup, AV, catering, guest management, program flow, emcee scripts, and post-event reports.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments, doctors, insurance partners, and vendors to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Manage budget planning, negotiation with vendors, and cost effectiveness.
D. Branding & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Strengthen DSH2’s positioning as a premium specialist hospital through impactful storytelling and event experiences.
  • Support Group-level campaigns and collaborate with KPJ Corporate Communications.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with corporate clients, embassies, international partners, insurers, and government bodies for visibility and trust-building.
  • Identify PR and event opportunities that can elevate medical specialties (e.g., Robotic Surgery, MICS, Neuroscience, Heart & Lung COE).
E. Reporting & Analytics
  • Prepare monthly PR/media performance reports (media reach, PR value, sentiment analysis).
  • Produce post-event evaluation reports including ROI, turnout, cost analysis, and qualitative feedback.
  • Maintain an updated calendar for PR activities, events, and partnership engagements.
