A leading trading company in Selangor is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to oversee import/export activities and analyze logistics performance data. Qualifications

Responsibilities
- Monitor all import and export activities across Mr.DIY worldwide, responsible for all matters related to shipping functions.
- Collect, interpret, and analyze various types of logistics data, including backlog deliveries, fulfilment metrics, shipping lead time and cost, and the reliability and cost effectiveness of third-party logistics (3PL).
- Identify shipping issues and implement solutions in a timely manner, and suggest solutions for shipping process optimization.
- Ensure the import/export delivery process adheres to the rules and procedures set by the Logistics department.
- Assist in delivery planning for special commodities such as FDA and CE on regulated items.
- Support the design and implementation of Logistics Solutions; work with other team members to develop alternative solutions.
- Examine documents such as costing files, invoices, and other related shipping documents.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, International Trade, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in global trading, import/export operations, or logistics coordination.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including:
- • Pivot Tables
- • VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
- Proficient in PowerPoint for preparing reports and presentations.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of data querying (e.g., SQL, Power Query, or similar) is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of import/export procedures, customs operations, and HS code classifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with diverse stakeholders globally.
- Fluent in both Mandarin and English to facilitate communication with international partners and vendors.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and adaptable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Creative problem-solver with the ability to think critically and offer innovative solutions to logistics challenges.
