Qualifications

Report to

MAGCS Senior Executive, Inventory & Logistic Management

Position Summary

Responsible for managing in-flight inventory and logistics to ensure- stock availability, operational-pane synergy and seamless operations across all stations. The role supports inventory planning, coordinates with suppliers, monitors equipment performance, oversees stock replenishment, transfers and maintenance activities. Additionally, the position reviews and establishes short‑ and long‑term plans for in-flight equipment requirements56 for KUL Caterer and Line Stations to maintain optimum inventory levels that meet operational and service standards. The role also prepares billing reports and implements process improvements to optimize overall in-flight inventory operations.

Key Accountabilities
  • Support contract renewals and SLA management with the Senior Executive.
  • Assist inventory planning to ensure sufficient in‑flight equipment and supplies across all flights.
  • Manage stock replenishment and distribution to ensure availability across all stations.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Monitor slow‑moving, excess, and aging inventory and propose corrective actions.
  • Conduct quarterly stock takes and resolve variances to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Review replenishment and loss reports, adjusting forecasts to reflect consumption trends.
  • Analyse inventory issues with caterers and recommend mitigation to prevent disruptions.

  • Develop short‑to‑mid‑term ordering plans to maintain efficient stock levels.
  • Prepare monthly billing reports to ensure accurate invoicing and financial tracking.
  • Coordinate Reach Truck and Forklift maintenance to ensure operational readiness and safety compliance.
Qualifications and Working Experience
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Candidates with at least 2 years of relevant experience in warehouse, inventory, or supply chain operations will also be considered.
  • Not mandatory, but any foundational courses in SAP are advantageous.
  • At least 1‑2 years in inventory, logistics, supply chain, or in‑flight operations.
Areas of Experience
  • Inventory and stock management (planning, monitoring, replenishment).
  • Vendor or service provider coordination and order follow‑up.
  • Administrative and data tracking tasks (billing, documentation, and reporting).
  • Familiar with ERP / Financial Systems (e.g., SAP, ICOS).
  • Exposure to in‑flight operations or catering logistics is an advantage.
