Job summary

A leading brewery company in Selangor is seeking an experienced Spare Parts Executive to manage inventory, compliance with environmental regulations, and optimize warehouse processes. Candidates should possess 2-3 years of experience in spare part inventory or 4-5 years in storekeeping, along with a relevant diploma or degree. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required. This role involves implementing digital solutions and ensuring the spare parts database is accurate and relevant.

Qualifications

  • 2 - 3 years in spare part inventory management or 4 - 5 years in storekeeper roles.
  • Experience with spare parts executive activities at an advanced level.
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia for technical documentation.

Job description

•Responsible for managing hazardous spare parts and wasted materials in fully compliant with local regulations of environmental protection and safety

•Manage the spare parts store in accordance with the supply and inventory work processes (receiving, issuing, reconciliation and 5S).

•Manage & organise stock cycle counting following procedures and escape to promptly resolve discrepancies between physical stock and stock data.

•Execute Material Resource Planning (MRP) in accordance with required settings, cooperating with maintenance specialists and planners

•Ensure that Spare Part Management reports and KPIs are monitored monthly on CMMS systems and SPM dashboard

•Manage the spare part store and related processes and report to the Manager – Maintenance Planning.

•Manage coordination and alignment regarding handovers between the planning team and the maintenance execution team; both from handing over to execution and/or receiving returned materials from the execution team.

•Keep the spare parts stores well organized and clean through applying 5S methodology and using good visual management (VM)

•Ensure all foundation activities are properly implemented (i.e. 5S in spare parts store and maintaining ABC‑X matrix on a regular basis).

Proactively use visual management to manage the spare part supply workflow of repairable and high turn-over parts (i.e. two-bin inventory control )

•Preventively check the accuracy and relevance of the spare parts database. Investigate deviations following stock counts and suggest countermeasures

•Manage the MRP data and ensure the settings are up to date.

•Implement digital & technology solutions to collect and manage spare parts master data

•Contribute to warehouse optimization by using advanced techniques and applying the associated tools and applications

Requirements

•Minimum of 2 - 3 years in (previous) Spare part inventory- or 4 - 5 years in (previous) storekeeper jobs;

  • Minimum diploma/degree ain relevant field

•Mastered all the activities and experience of the Spare Parts Executive job on the advanced level.

•Advanced knowledge and experience in supply and inventory management work processes

•Language : English & Bahasa Malaysia (at least read and understand technical documents)

•Knowledge in 5S and Working on the Spare part conversion new CMMS preferred.
