Overview
Our client is one of the largest telecom equipment providers in the world, renowned for their significant investment into cutting-edge R&D.
They are seeking a diplomatic and resourceful Enterprise Account Manager with a strong background in ICT/telecommunications—especially in regards to dealing with government and large commercial clients. The ideal candidate must have deep knowledge of government procurement processes, great relationship management skills, and a proven ability to win, manage, and upsell enterprise accounts.
Please note that this position requires RELOCATION to Brunei, without exception.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute account strategies for government and commercial clients, focusing on bulk tenders and enterprise-level contracts.
- Manage the full tender process including bid preparation, pricing strategy, documentation, and compliance with procurement requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, procurement officials, and stakeholders within government and large organizations.
- Identify new opportunities within existing accounts and expand the company's footprint across ICT and telecommunications solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams including technical, legal, and finance to ensure high-quality and compliant bid submissions.
- Provide market intelligence on government procurement trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Negotiate and close large-scale contracts, ensuring profitability and alignment with business objectives.
- Manage post-sales account relationships to ensure client satisfaction, renewals, and long-term partnerships.
- Prepare accurate forecasts, reports, and account plans for senior management review.
Requirements
- At least 5+ years of experience in enterprise account management within the ICT or telecommunications industry. Must have experience working with government agencies.
- Ability to relocate to Brunei.
- Previous working experience in, or strong market knowledge of Brunei will be a huge plus.
- Extensive experience handling government and commercial bulk tenders with a proven track record of successful bid management.
- Deep understanding of government procurement policies, compliance requirements, and decision-making processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Professional working fluency in English is required. Fluency in Malay will be advantageous.
- Bachelor\'s degree in business administration, information technology, telecommunications, or a related field.
