A renowned hospitality company in Kota Kinabalu is seeking an Engineering Manager to ensure departmental efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering, experience in maintenance programs, and knowledge of HVAC systems. Only Malaysian citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this role.

Qualifications

• Ideally holds a degree or diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or Building Management.
• Knowledge in preventive maintenance programme and special projects will be valuable.
• Technical expertise in systems such as air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration is an advantage.

Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for ensuring the department operates efficiently and in alignment with Hyatt’s corporate strategies and brand standards, while fulfilling the expectations of employees, guests, and owners.
• You will be assisting the Chief Engineer in managing departmental functions by planning, organizing, directing, and overseeing team policies, procedures, and administrative operations.

Qualifications

• Ideally holds a degree or diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or Building Management.
• Knowledge in preventive maintenance programme and special projects will be valuable.
• Technical expertise in systems such as air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration, fire mains, sprinklers, water/waste treatment, or hydraulics is an advantage.
• Proficiency in computer applications is essentials.
