Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to enhance its die-casting solutions. The role involves organizing First Article submissions, planning pilot preparations, and conducting feasibility analyses. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, at least 3 years of experience, and skills in Solidworks or CAD. Strong communication abilities are essential. This position is based in Seksyen 26, Shah Alam.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in a related field.
• Knowledge in using Solidworks or CAD software is an added advantage.
• Able to communicate well with all levels of people.

Responsibilities

• Organize creation and submission of First Article (FA) products.
• Plan pilot lot's preparation, troubleshoot technical issues during development.
• Coordinate implementation of Engineering Change Orders.
• Conduct feasibility analyses on specifications and drawings.
• Prepare reports and documentation as needed.
• Develop prototypes, run simulations, and perform tests for quality assurance.

Job description

You will experience the latest technology that provided to our customers with a complete die-casting solution from design reviews to delivery of quality products which will drive your career development enhancement. Collaborating with cross-functional teams (project managers, process engineers, etc.) to develop innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Organize the creation and submission of First Article (FA) products and processes.
• Plan the pilot lot's preparation for the product, method, and yield. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during development.
• Coordinate the implementation of the Engineering Change Order.
• Conduct a feasibility analysis on the technical specifications and drawings.
• Prepare appropriate reports and documentation as needed.
• Developing prototypes, running simulations, and performing tests to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications.
• Documenting design processes, test results, and technical specifications.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
• Required skill(s): Knowledge in using Solidworks or CAD software is an added advantage.
• Able to communicate well with all level of people.
• Creative and analytical in performing daily responsibilities.
• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
