About the Role

This position reports to the Chief Data Officer

We are hiring an Data Analytics Engineer who bridges the gap between data engineering and data analysis. You’ll own the transformation layer, ensuring data is clean, modeled, and ready for analysis using DBT and SQL. If you have a passion for analytics, clean data models, and building beautiful dashboards (especially in Looker), this role is for you.

We have two vacancies: a permanent role and a one-year contract position renewable annually.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain data models using DBT
  • Write performant and reusable SQL queries for reporting and analytics
  • Translate business questions into data solutions and accessible datasets
  • Build and maintain dashboards using a BI tool — preferably Looker
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure data needs are met
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reports
Requirements
  • Expert‑level SQL skills and strong understanding of relational data modeling
  • Experience with DBT for transformation and modeling
  • Experience with at least one BI tool; Looker preferred
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
  • Experience/knowledge in Billing, Revenue Assurance & Fraud system will be an added advantage
